Job description – Technical Sales Representative

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage a designated geographic market. You’ll be responsible for providing timely service to our customers, whether through regular communication or in-person site visits. The ideal candidate will be located in Wyoming or Montana, with a territory assigned based on location. A strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication skills are essential for you to effectively learn and explain our products’ technical details to customers.

Location: Remote – Home Office (Rocky Mountain Region – Colorado, Montana or Wyoming preferred)

Compensation: $60,000/yr base salary with quarterly commission payouts, spot bonuses, and high OTE (On-Target Earnings) potential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation: Proactively find and pursue new sales leads in dry bulk material handling.

Client Consultation: Meet with existing and potential customers to troubleshoot issues and recommend technical solutions.

Customer Advocacy: Act as the bridge between factory personnel and the client to ensure quick resolutions.

Sales Cycle Management: Deliver high-impact presentations and manage relationships with key decision-makers.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent work experience.

2–5 years in technical sales preferred, ideally with bulk material handling equipment.

Valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel up to 50%.
