Permanent overhead magnets are non-electric suspended type separators, suspended over a conveyor or head pulley to remove ferrous metals. No external power source is required for the magnet. We can provide self-cleaning models for high-volume separation. Metal is automatically and continuously removed from the magnet by a belt that travels around the body of the magnet. Eddy Current Magnets
We use powerful rare earth magnets for recovering aluminum and other non ferrous metals from recyclables, plastics, glass, and other product streams. Aluminum and other non-ferrous metals are removed using eddy currents. We create a magnetic field around the piece of aluminum, which repels the unwanted item away from the magnet. This repulsion makes the trajectory of the aluminum greater than that of the non-metallics, allowing the material to be separated.
